Run your hands along her bark allowing fingertips to slip beneath surface scars and you’ll instinctively know her story. Counting her rings, you discover her wisdom and sense the energy that swirls deep within.  Appreciate her majesty. She is rooted in strength, yet delicate at winds touch.  All this revealed in graceful arching of twisting limbs. She comes to life when the graphite glides and watercolors flow easy. Somewhere within this soulful portrait, is where my own heart lies.
