Late afternoon in my studio...Sun just beginning to sink...
This is one of my favorite moments of the day.
The light is gorgeous... A warm glaze, sparkling still but softer, less urgent than earlier in the day.
My studio windows wide open. Music fills the space.
This is prime painting time for me.
This painting was inspired by this most beautiful Kate Bush song..."Sunset". I listen to it almost every single day.
The lyrics wound around my soul and represent the season of sun that means so much to me.
